ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Skytrek Tandem Hang Gliding & Paragliding provides you with flights over Queenstown from Coronet Peak, located just 20 minutes’ drive from the city center.
Skytrek courtesy shuttle will pick you up from town and drives you to one of the launch areas ranging from 3800 feet to 5500 feet high. The highest commercial take-off in New Zealand!
Your pilot will gently guide you through the steps required to become airborne with him, so you can enjoy the breathtaking views from Coronet Peak across the Queenstown Surrounds. The friendly and professional team of tandem pilots are highly experienced and will ensure your experience will be one to remember!
If you're accompanying a fare-paying passenger, come along for the ride and enjoy the panorama (on a space-available basis)!

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Being the first tandem skydiving operation in New Zealand guarantees you the best skydive over the beautiful lakes around Queenstown!
It takes guts to skydive, and you've taken the first step towards experiencing what many believe to be the ultimate adrenaline-inducing activity! Your whole body will go into overdrive and your senses will be heightened as you freefall at 200 kph. along with your professional jumpmaster with over a 1000 jumps!
Queenstown is considered the Adventure Capital of the World, and it's the birthplace of skydiving in New Zealand. Right in the center of the city, your skydiving experience will begin. After registration and a video brief, you'll choose the video package you would like during your skydive, and finally, you'll be taken to NZONE's private airstrip.
There, you'll witness other skydivers getting ready as you get geared up: jumpsuit, goggles, harness, and helmet will be provided to you. When the time comes, you'll hear a boarding call; it's time to hop on the plane. A 20 min. flight will give you an amazing perspective of Queenstown; Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains will look tiny!
You can choose between 3 different options - 9,000ft, 12,000ft or 15,000ft jump.
Once you've reached the necessary height, the door will open. Your tandem master will position you and after the signal, you'll jump! A free fall at a terminal speed of 200 kph. will make you feel like floating on an air cushion! Your jumpmaster will open the parachute and the canopy will allow you to reduce speed and enjoy a 5 min. relaxing ride to the ground. Make sure to smile for the camera, remember you're being filmed!
After landing softly on grass, and recatching your breath you'll be able to take home a video of the experience home
